OpenLDAP Faq-O-Matic : OpenLDAP Software FAQ : Configuration : SLAPD Configuration : Overlays : Disabling operations: the "denyop" overlay (OpenLDAP 2.3) | |
The denyop overlay disables selected operations
on the underlying database.
This overlay is essentially intended as a demonstrator of error return from inside an overlay. Note that this very same capability was subsequently built into slapd, so this overlay is now redundant.
